Ontario Introduces Provincial Legislation to Control Invasive Species

Oh for chrissakes, finally.

Here's the actual proposed legislation.

If it passes, I hope they would actually enforce this at nurseries who are still, unbelievably, growing and selling phragmites, oriental bittersweet, multiflora rose, autumn olive, japanese knotweed, all of which i've seen take time and resources to control in conservation areas and crown lands...  (see previous rant here.)
